Looks like a kid to me.

This shot came out really good. You have a small amount of blowout in the face. The color looks good and the Dynamic Range looks good. You have a nice wide color range.

You have captured a good facial expression on the model.

The sky could be better. Shooting from shadow to light, particularly against the sky, has its challenges. The best way to preserve the blues of the sky and not blowout the clouds is by using a GRADUATED NEUTRAL DENSITY LENS FILTER. I would recommend a 0.6 Soft as a good all around filter to have if you can afford to buy only one.

Here is a blurb I made up for the lens filters:

NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS or ND filters are "grey" filters. An ideal neutral density filter reduces light of all wavelengths or colors equally. The purpose of standard photographic neutral density filters is to allow the photographer greater flexibility to change the aperture or exposure time, allowing for more control, particularly in extreme circumstances.

A Neutral Density Filter can be used to prevent blowout when photographing the sky. In an another example, on a very bright day, one might wish to photograph a waterfall at a slow shutter speed to create a deliberate motion blur effect. In order to do this, one would need a shutter speed on the order of tenths of a second. There might be so much light that even at minimum film speed and a minimum aperture such as f/32, the corresponding shutter speed would still be too fast. In this situation, by applying an appropriate neutral density filter one or more stops can be taken out of the exposure, allowing a slow shutter speed and more pleasing effect.

GRADUATED NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS are especially handy for shooting from shadow to sky, where you would normally blow-out your sky, and for shooting Sunsets. You can get some very good skies and sunsets that way.

In short, the filter is clear on the bottom, gradually increasing near the center to transition to the filtered part of the lens in the upper half. This way the sky can be filters, while the rest of the image remains unfiltered.

:bulletblack: Filters can be screwed into the lenses of most SRL cameras (screw in filters), or you can get drop-in holders for the lens, or you can simply hand-hold one in front of the lens (not very convenient.

:bulletgreen: For lenses that you cannot screw a filter into, there are 4 systems available (drop in filters). :bulletblue: Additionally you can simply HOLD a filter in front of your camera lens with your hand (not very easy to do without getting the filter smudged). They come in sizes like 3"x 3" and 3" x 4".

well i think he looks too sorrowful for a kid. seems tired and fed-up like an adult. it's not so unusual for a kid, but it's rarely shown on the photographs. people like kids when they look naive, innocent and carefree. that's quite an obvious point.
thanks for advice

:iconinspiredcreativity:
It is a sad truth about how sorrowful way too many kids are. I was physically beaten almost daily, born autistic, born gay, blah, blah, and tried to kill myself at age 13. 50% of all boys in the United States who attempt or succeed in killing themselves, is gay or bisexual. So far this year, two 11 year old boys have committed suicide from homophobic harassment at school. They may not even have been gay. 260,000 to 520,000 Gay kids (depending on the year, as young as 11 years old, go on the street every year, most tossed out by Christian and Muslim parents. Apparently God made them do it. About 1.3 million kids become homeless each year. But nobody cares. There is not a single government programs to help them, city, state or federal. They have a very high mortality rate.

Oddly, the rate of suicide in children, in general is highest in upper middle income white families. The reason why is obvious.

So yes, kids can get chewed-up and spit-out at very young ages. I wrote a paper once proving that Americans were the cruelest people against children in the western civilized world, by far.

Very sad...Such a God-fearing people too...

I wish more did, so we could sign the treaties and treat kid decently. In Europe, the percentages of violent crimes against children, child rapes, malnutrition, lack of medical care, child abuse, illiteracy, and depression and anxiety in children, are considerably lower.
